Our Binning ways have lead us over many parts of the UK. Though we are still yet to take in any of Northern and Southern Ireland. The photo here shows two of us on the top of Glastonbury Tor. Obviously the view was not the important thing and nor was the tower. It was all to do with being on top of Glastonbury Tor and ticking it off our list of Binner venues. We have been to myriad places in the West Country ranging from the Cotswolds down to Cornwall.

These areas are chocker with Barrows and stone circles and things. On one trip, after spending the night at the Rollright Stones, we drove down to the Humphrey Littleton Long barrow, encountering shed loads of Barrows on the way, that were in all states of repair.

It got to the stage where, reluctant both to stop at yet another barrow, we would all casually start looking in the opposite direction as we drove past a sign indicating the next fine specimen awaiting our attention. We would then, having passed by a safe distance, look at the map and express both surprise and regret, having missed a long barrow that obviously could not have been sign posted too well, or we would have stopped to take a look at it.
